Marlepark bulls sell at 16000gns and 10000gns

Marlepark Edward was Senior champion and Reserve overall champion at Carlisle at the February show and sale. Edward sold for 16000gns to the noted Beath herd owned by John and James Thomson, Hilton of Beath Kelty Fife.

The July 2009 born Marlepark Elite sold for 10,000gns to AJ Clark�s Mayfields Herd, Hangram Lane Farm, Ringinglow, Sheffield. This is thought to be the first time an exhibitor has won two sections in a pre-sale show at Carlisle

Haltcliffe Doctor was bought in partnership for 15,000gns with the Goldies herd on Saturday 1st May 2010 at Carlisle, where he stood Intermediate Champion. He is bred from a fantastic dam line, his mother being Haltcliffe Usabelle, full sister to Haltcliffe Upperity ( Junior Champion and Reserve Overall Female Champion ILC Show 2004 at only 18 months old) and Haltcliffe Anzac (stock bull in the Loosebeare Herd). The first six cross bred heifers were sold at Carlisle on 19th March 2010. They averaged �1386.

Director sells at 12,000gns

Marlepark Director was second in his class at Carlisle on 12th of February 2010. The following day he sold for 12,000gns to Messrs Dandie, Learielaw, Broxburn. Director is sired by Grahams Uist and his dam Marlepark Unique is a daughter of Ronchon.

Dynamite sells at 12,000gns

Marlepark Dynamite was second in his class at Carlisle on 12th of February 2010. The Following day he sold for 12,000gns to Messrs T&B Williams, Cil Mawr, Llangedwyn, Oswestry. Dynamite is sired by Goldies Terence and his dam is Marlepark Vanilla, a Prestige daughter that is full sister to Marlepark Ulsterman that was sold for �5000.

Ampertaine Bravo

Goldies Dominator, the first bull sired by Ampertaine Bravo sold for 6200gns at only 16 months old, at Carlisle on 13th of Feb 2010.

We have two bulls for the forthcoming sale at Carlisle, including Marlepark Director, a super young bull by Grahams Uist. Director is very wide and full of style. He weighed 960kgs on 28th of January.

Scottish Limousin Club Herd Competition 2009

Pedigree youngstock sale at Carlisle on 20th May 2009

Eight heifers sold to average £2145 at 11-13 months old. The sale was topped at 4800gns by Marlepark Dreamcatcher, a Wilodge Vantastic daughter which was bought by David & Maggie Kelly for their Netherhall Herd. We also sold Marlepark Dixiechic for 3200gns to Messrs Harley Of Netherwood, Stirling.This was the first offspring of Normande Arapaho to be sold.

Netherhall Desmond, bought at Carlisle on 1st May 2009. Desmond is sired by Sympa and his dam is the outstanding Parkhouse Angel that was sold for 16000gns at the Parkhouse sale.He combines excellent bloodlines with style and shape and was reserve junior champion in Carlisle May 2009, despite being one of the youngest bulls in the sale.
